This is a book I discovered in a great 2nd hand bookshop in Woodend. I'd never heard of this series...but I love it. Illustrations are so striking and story-line is wonderful. Plan to find out more about this talented author/illustrator. This book was published in 1966.

I found your blog in a very roundabout method, through Wee Wonderfuls and Loobylu Month of Softies, I think (though how I got there, I don't know), and have been lurking and getting inspiration from you all for about a week. Didn't think I would actually write, or make myself known, but just had to speak up about cute Dorrie.
By the way, could you answer a question for me...? How do you all arrange your swaps with each other? Is there somewhere where you can sign up to join a swap?
