Very excited. Just ordered this book and can't wait to start making some stuff. Feeling very tired today. Had to review a show last night for work and didn't get home until late. Driving on the highway - dense fog, no moon - white line disappearing into oblivion. Can't wait for warmer days.

PS. Thank you MOLLY CHICKEN for my first ever comment! I wouldn't have found this book without your help. Check out her lovely and inspiring site at http://mollychicken.blogs.com/my_weblog/

Knitting Nancy

I stopped smoking three months ago and replaced the addiction with Knitting Nancy (I don't inhale!). Have made a few brooches and will post pictures soon. Next challenge - Knitting 101. This is what my Knitting Nancy looks like...arhhh. Pretty.

The world is full of cute things. This is one of them.... Say hello to Olivia.

What is it with pigs? Piglet, Wilbur, Animal Farm, Babe, Three Little Pigs, Miss Piggy, Porky Pig.

Dark now. Leaving here to have dinner with friends. Hope it's spaghetti.

Japanese Craft Books

How hard is it to track down beautiful Japanese craft books? Keep seeing them on other posts...and will perserve. Just saw this at http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/.

Paper Cut Tuesday

Have decided to ramble until things become more clear. Thick fog on the drive into work. I did some sewing while Bear 2 did the driving. Bear 2 always does the driving because I can't drive...yet. I often drive in my dreams. Must start lessons again soon. However, Bear 2 can't sew.

Got a paper cut today. I'm amazed at how annoying/painful they can be. Going to attempt to download a book cover. I love Tove Jansson's books. Who Will Comfort Toffle is a fav.

It worked!

Last week I was lucky enough to attend the opening of the Dutch Masters Exhibition at the National Gallery Victoria. Fantastic stuff and well worth seeing. Vermeer's Love Letter was striking.

Monday, Monday

First posting. Hello world! Getting dark outside. No idea what shape this blog will take. I don't know what's more arrogant: assuming people will read it...or not.

Must work out how to post images.
Back soon.
