Vegetarian? Don't Look Now.

We had a friend over for Easter Sunday lunch. I cooked a leg of lamb the night before so we had a Ploughman's Lunch. They vary but ours was cold lamb, Branston pickles, caperberries, home-made bread (made by Em), green salad, good cheese and plenty of wine. I don't cook big pieces of meat very often but I quite enjoyed preparing the lamb. I put heaps of garlic cloves in little jabs - lots of rosemary too and cooked it on a bed of onions and yet more garlic. It was fantastic. Last night I made Shepherd's Pie with the left overs - double yum.
