Tonight is my last Brownies! We're doing crochet. I can't wait. I've finally mastered the granny square but hope to learn something different tonight. I've started working with this fine green thread that has a luster to it - quite scary but we'll see what happens. I've made a few necklaces...here they are in red wool...

I got back into the blocks this weekend. This set is a c0mission for a person who loves Jane Austen and Louisa May Alcott....each side has a different image...but you get the idea. I really enjoyed working with a theme - each block tells a story. They look good just tumbled together, too.

That green thread is beautiful.
love your blocks! I just inherited all my son's old ones when they got left outside all season and turned this weird black. I've washed them all and now will sand them all and will paper and glitter them no doubt to house some creation or another!
