Here is the next book up for grabs. The Valley of Secrets by Charmian Hussey. Good read for ten and up. "Abandoned as a baby, Stephen had nearly given up hope of ever finding his family. It's a paperback with really lovely black and white engravings.

I want this book! I love black and white etchings and have recently thought about giving it a try. It's been a long time since school art classes but as usual where is the time. Perhaps reading it to my daughter will inspire us both!
